About the Clinician:
Stacey Giere is a 7th generation farmer on her mother's Maple Crest Farm, in Brecksville, Ohio, had the good fortune of growing up with ponies, horses and dairy cows. After 20 years of showing hunter jumpers and sport horses, Stacey moved into the realm of pleasure driving. After graduating from Ohio State University with a Master’s Degree in Adapted Physical Education, she taught K-6 physical education and worked with handicapped students, including those from the Ohio School for the Blind. In 2000 she felt that is was time to return to Maple Crest Farm full time and join her mother Meredith Giere to train horses and further develop the riding and driving program with the youth/amateur base of clients.
With an enduring focus of carriage driving horses since 2002, she has gone on to create National Champions, Stacey has focused on Sport Horse and the Arabian breed shows. She has also had the privilege and opportunity to compete in combined driving events with Timeless Concorde, currently single horse intermediate, and many clients horses and pair ponies along the way.
Stacey is dedicated to turning out appropriate, happy driving horses while stressing safety at all phases of training. Her teaching style instills confidence and the joy of driving in her students.
Schedule of Events and Costs:
Will be held rain or shine! Indoor Arena: 80x160 Outdoor Arena: 160x200
Friday evening starting at 6pm
Pleasure driving: Helping you catch the judge’s eye (in a good way)
Sessions will be 1 hour in length and have 3 participants in each session
Up to 3 sessions available
Cost: $65.00 per participant
Saturday starting at 8am to 1pm
Driven Dressage
Sessions are private and 45 minutes in length
6 sessions available
Cost: $85 per participant
Saturday starting at 2 pm to 5pm
Cones
Sessions will be 1 hour in length and have 3 participants in each session
3 sessions available
Cost: $65 per participant

1 Groom that accompanies a participant may audit sessions for free!
