Huntersville, NC–Driven Racing Oil™ Hot Rod Oil protects camshafts from scuffing, provides cold-start protection and features storage additives to guard your engine from rust and corrosion.
Developed specifically for older cars, no other oil provides the unique combination of lubricant chemistry offered by Driven’s Hot Rod Oil. It contains high levels of ZDDP to protect the engine in classic cars, muscle cars and historic racers. Since more wear occurs during start up than at any other time, Driven Hot Rod Oil also meets the latest SAE J300 Cold Cranking requirements, so you can give your engine the cold-start protection it needs along with the Zinc anti-wear chemistry to keep your camshaft protected. What’s more, because Driven Hot Rod Oil is designed specifically for older-style car and hot rod engines, it features US military specification rust and corrosion inhibitors. These unique additives fight the formation of rust and defend against corrosion while your car is in the garage or in storage.
Four different blends of Driven Hot Rod Oil are available. HR1 Petroleum is perfect for big block muscle cars, blown street rods and engines with original seals. It is good for loose bearing clearances and features a viscosity typical of 15W-50. HR2 Petroleum has a viscosity typical of 10W-30 and is great for small block street machines and crate engines. Its 10W multi-grade formula provides excellent start-up protection. Meanwhile, HR3 Synthetic offers excellent protection for big blocks and looser clearance engines. It is ideal for long stroke and/or high compression power plants and features a viscosity typical of 15W-50. Finally, with a viscosity typical of 10W-30, HR4 Synthetic features excellent start-up protection with high-temperature stability. It provides fuel economy gains compared to heavier conventional oils and is a great choice for street rods with crate engines.
