Draw a Monster Game
Based on Hush Little Monster, by Denis Markell and illustrated by Melissa Iwai, Simon and Schuster 2012

1. Choose a card from the PINK deck. This is the general shape of your monster.
2. Choose 2 cards from the GREEN deck. Try to incorporate this characteristic into your monster drawing.
3. Choose a card from the YELLOW deck. This is your monster’s emotion. Try showing it in his/her face, body language, etc.
4. Draw your monster using the cards you chose. Add other things you would like to add to give your monster personality.
5. Color your monster using crayons, pens, markers, pencils, or collage! Feel free to cut paper, string, and yarn and glue it on. You can also glue on other things to decorate your monster.
6. Fill out the fact sheet about your monster and let us know what she/he is all about!
