Sussex Wooden Spoon’s CHRISTMAS LUNCH
Wednesday 9th December 2015 – Palm Court Restaurant, Brighton Pier
The Wooden Spoon Sussex Region Committee invites you, your family, friends and colleagues to apply for tickets for this year’s three course Fish & Chip Spectacular in the legendary Palm Court Restaurant on Brighton Pier on Wednesday 9th December 2015. The attached Flyer gives more details.
In the last 9 years, ‘Sussex Spoon’ has raised more than £300,000 for disadvantaged youngsters living in Sussex from donations, raffles, lunches, running marathons, golf days, horse racing and other events.
In the past 12 months the following projects, paid for with monies raised in Sussex, have been opened and are now in full use:
Ø Soft Play Room at Oak Grove School, Worthing
Ø Sensory Room at Manor Green College, Crawley
Ø Disabled adapted Sailing Dinghy based Sussex Sailability at Shoreham
Future projects include:
Ø Enhanced access at Springboard Project in Horsham
Ø Re-fitted Workshop at Cornfield School, Littlehampton
Please support the Sussex Region Committee’s fund raising efforts by joining the Christmas Lunch at the very generous price of £45 per head (same as last year) for the three course lunch plus coffee. Entertainment at the lunch will be provided by Ian Richards, professional comedian, after dinner speaker & broadcaster. Tables of any size up to 10 people can be booked. It will all be great fun and an excellent run up to the Christmas Festivities.
I attach the Ticket Application Form. Numbers are limited to 180 and, bearing in mind that last year’s Spoon Christmas Lunch was a sell-out, I strongly recommend early booking to avoid disappointment.
