3.The new Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on European Statistics (223/2009)
Eurostat will present the new Regulation on Statistics and the possibilities and responsibilities it gives the statistical services.
4.Agri-environmental commitments (1)
DG AGRI will present the different agri-environmental commitments that farmers have been able to subscribe to during the last years, the way the commitments are reported to the Commission and the issues related to AEI indicator 1 "Agri-environmental commitments".
5.Areas under organic farming (4)
Eurostat will present the results from the Task Force on Organic Farming from 4-5 May and present the latest area data.
6.Status of dissemination
Eurostat will present the status of the AEI tables in its public databases and the ideas for a dedicated website on AEI.
7.Eurostat tender
Eurostat will inform on the tender in progress on setting up a long term system for collecting the necessary data on the relation between agriculture and the environment
8.Input indicators (5, 6, 20)
Eurostatwill present the developments on the pesticide statistics regulation and the next steps
Eurostat will present the progress in the pilot studies on estimating waterused for irrigation linked to the Survey on Agricultural Production Methods
Fertiliser statistics
The results of the latest pilot studies on setting up fertiliser statistics will be presented and discussed
All grant beneficiaries will give their recommendations for how to set up European harmonised fertiliser statistics
DG AGRI, DG ENV, JRC and EEA will present their specific need on fertiliser statistics
9.Gross nutrient balances (15, 16)
OECD will give an overview on the latest developments on GNB and the plans for the future
The last reports on GNB from the TAPAS actions will be presented
All countries benefitting of TAPAS actions on GNB will give summarise their findings and give recommendations on the present Eurostat/OECD methodology for calculating GNB, with the aim of applying it on a regional level
