Dear Prospective Career Day Participant:
The Forest Street Family Cordially invites you or a representative from your organization to participate in our Annual Cultivating Careers Day, Friday, May 18, 2018.We are looking for a diverse group of individuals interested in sharing their various professions with our students. Believing that it is never too early to expose our children to career opportunities, we are preparing our students from Pre-K to 7th Grade to be college bound and career ready.
If you are interested in participating as a presenter, we are asking you to prepare a 5 to 8 minute presentation that engages elementary school children and provides them with a description of your occupation, the necessary education or training, and the vital role you play within your organization. Also, provide information on how your workplace is a service to the community. Please feel free to bring visual aids, flyers, brochures and giveaways to the event.
The Cultivating Careers Day Program will begin at 9:00am and end at 12:00pm. Please join us for a continental breakfast at 8:30am and also have an opportunity to network with our student ambassadors and other presenters.
