Thank you for your interest in joining Dr Klown.

At the moment we are looking to strengthen our Event Teamonly.

These are the volunteers who play an important role during events organised by Dr Klown to increase public awareness about our work in hospital and to raise funds.

Our Event Team volunteers are also valuable partners when we have to attend events organised by our benefactors and sponsors, like a CSR activity, a charity event, a Christmas Market, a sports event, etc. They may also be called upon to be present during media events.

Those events are regularly taking place during weekends and business hours, so it requires some flexibility from the Event Team volunteers.

The Event Team volunteers go dressed as clowns and receive artistic training in entertaining healthy children in public (not to be confounded with Klown Doctors, who work with sick, hospitalized children).

Our complement of Klown Doctors is full at the moment and we do not foresee to start another recruitment campaign in the coming two years.

However, should members of the Event Team feel attracted to becoming a Klown Doctor, they will be given serious consideration and accepted to take part in the selection programme, described below.

The whole process of joining as a volunteer starts with an Application Form, which you will find attached. Please complete it and send it to .

The selection process of volunteers consists of:Psychological tests; An Assessment exercise; Interviews; A group audition (only for Klown Doctors)

The criteria used to evaluate your application are:

Indeed, starting as a volunteer with Dr Klown is signing a PACT, a long lasting agreement, whereby the NGO invests in your training and development, while you give your talent, skills and time for the NGO in return.
