“Looking after you and your family”

Dr J Oates Dr M Boggild Dr B Ali Dr C Griffith Dr C Moulton Dr L Lindley

A routine appointment with the G.P. is for 10 minutes. If you have more than one complaint or feel you will not be able to discuss your problem within this time, please advise the receptionist on booking your appointment, so a longer or follow up appointment can be arranged or prioritise what is the most important issue you want to discuss. This will help to avoid other patients having to wait past their appointment time to see their GP and will allow your GP to deal with your problem more efficiently. (see attached “Tips on getting the most out of your Appointment”)

Changes to how you can order your prescriptions;
Your GP will no longer accept repeat prescription requests from your local pharmacy. You (or your carer, nominated family member/friend) will have to order your repeat prescription from your GP. You can do this by;
Drop off or post the order slip into your GP Practice
EMIS On Line
Mobile App
Email / Fax
Please note, prescriptions cannot be taken over the telephone
If you already order your prescription directly from your GP, then this will not change
Pharmacies that collect prescriptions from GP practices can continue to do so
Pharmacies can still receive prescriptions electronically
Pharmacies can still deliver medications and other items to your home address
If you have any questions regarding prescription ordering, or you think the changes are going to affect you, then please ask to speak to our Prescription Lead

To sign up, you need to speak to your preferred pharmacy and complete a form to confirm that they can receive your prescription directly. Once you have signed up, your chosen pharmacy will receive your prescription electronically and you will not have to pick up your paper prescription from us.

If you have already nominated a pharmacy, your prescription will be sent to them electronically unless you tell us otherwise. If you need to obtain a paper prescription for any reason, just let us know at the time of ordering.
