Biography
Dr. Runliang Dou is an associate professor in College of Management and Economics, Tianjin University. He received the Ph.D. degree in Management Science and Engineering in 2007 from the College of Management and Economics in Tianjin University. His research interests mainly focus on Big Data Analytics and Intelligent Decision, Machine Learning and Data Mining, Product and Service Innovation, and Customer Demand Analytics.
Dr. Dou has published tens of papers in the following international academic journals: Knowledge- Based Systems, Applied Soft Computing, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing,Systems Journal, IEEE and Journal of Management Sciences in China. He hostsorparticipates in many projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education and enterprises.
Dr. Dou is the Deputy Secretary-general in Chinese Industrial Engineering Institution, CMES, and Secretary-general in Chinese Industrial Engineering Department Heads. He organizes international academic exchange activities many times, and he also serves as International Program Committee Member or Session Chair in couples of the above conferences. He keeps close academiccooperationand exchanges with professors in the related fields from universities at home and abroad.
Dr. Dou also serves as associate editor or area editor for many international journals such as Computers & Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Industrial Engineering andInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems. As guest editor, he has launched several special issues on frontier research in international renowned journals.
