6.BRIEF RESUME OF THE INTENDED WORK:-
6.1 INTRODUCTION
For conception 4 things are necessary i.e. Rutu,Kshetra,Ambu and Bija.Bija means both male and Female fertility factor i.e. sukra and Artva .If there is Kshaya in any one of the above factor it will lead to infertility .The person who is infertile is said to be nindya acc. to charaka..
NEED FOR THE STUDY:-
For the infertility, male factor contribution is 50% to the total infertiity.
Shukrakshya [oligospermia] is increasing day by day due to the irregular eating habits excessive stress and strain. .
Acc.to Ayurveda thevrusya, balya properties are present in shukra karaka yoga,and to improve shukra dhatu formation.so shukrakaraka yoga is selected..
Shukrakshaya is one of the manifastation of “ Shukra dusti”.abnormality of seminal fluid . This biological abnormality is most responsible factor formaleinfertility. .
So an Ayurvedic attempt has been made to solve above problem to cure the symptoms and to provide a better result
6.2 REVIEW OF LITERATURE:-
CHARAKA SAMHITA1:
Acharya Charak given utmost importance to vajeekarana as well as for the good quality of sukra . he explained that due to vitiation of vata dosha shoshana of sukra takes place and leads the shukra kshaya
SUSHRUT SAMHITA2:
Acharya Sushruta discribedelaborately all aspect of shukra doshas especially of
shukra kshaya in sutra sthana, He also, explained that ksheena shukra is by the vitiation of Apana and Vyana vayu.
KASHYAPA SAMHITA3
Acharya kashayapa explained about the abnormalities of shukra along with eight types of shukra dushti.
SHARANGADHARA SAMHITA4
Acharya sharangadhara explained ashta doshas of the shukra. ksheen shukra is one among these & he also explained for management ,.Drugs like Shukrala,and also shukrajanak and shukra pravartaka .

6.3. Objectives of the STUDY:-
•To evaluate the effect of shukrala drugs in management of shukrakshya.
•To analyse clinically the shukrakshaya and different condition coming under this topic.
•Having sperm count less than 20 million/ml.

7.MATERIALS AND METHODS:
7.1 SOURCES OF DATA:-
Patient will be selected from OPD of Prasuti Tantra & StriRoga department of Sri Siddharoodha Charitable hospital, attached to N.K.J.Ayurvedic College & P.G Research Centre, Bidar.
Samhitas, Nighantus, Modern books of Anatomy, Physiology, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Pharmacology books.
Journals, Magazines, Seminars, Conferences, Digital library and Websites.
The raw drugs will be collected from market under the supervision of Dravya guna specialist.
Drug will be prepared in the pharmacy attached to N K J A M C .
7.2METHODS OF COLLECTION OF DATA:-
The study will be conducted in the department of Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga. Only those patients fulfilling below criteria are selected. Detailed history will be taken and noted on research case sheet.
Sample size & procedure: according to inclusive and exclusive criteria 30 patients will be selected on the basis of randomised sampling procedure& taken under a single group. Patients will be administered with ashvagandhadi yoga
Study: It is a single blind study.
Dose– 3-6gms BD with milk
Route- orally
Duration of the treatment- 3 months.
Follow up: once in a month

These drugs are administered in the form of Granules. 3to6gm BD with milk.
KARMAS

Sarkara / Pittashamaka,and Shukarla / Nourishing factor.
Shweta musli / Klaibyaroghara and Balya / Anti-depressent,Antioxydent.
Shatavari / Prajasthapana, and Balya / Immunomodulatory.
SELECTON CRITERIA.
INCLUSION CRITERIA:-
•Male patients between ages of 25-45yr.
•Ejaculatory dysfunction
•Motility-less than 30%
•Sperm count less than 20 million/ml
•Loss of libido
EXCLUSION CRITERIA:-
Primary testicular disorder
Patients having other systemic pathology(HTN,DM,TB,)

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA:-
SUBJECTIVE PARAMETERS
- -Male infertile Patient
- -Ejaculatory dysfunction.
OBJECTIVE PARAMETERS:-
Changes in semen parameters such as-sperm count ,motility and.morphoiogy.
STATISTICAL ANAALYSIS:-
Statistical evaluation of the above parameters will be analysed by employing appropriate statistical test.
