SCOUTS AND SCOUTERS

WEAR YOUR “CLASS A” UNIFORMS

Merit Badge pamphlets will be for sale at the college.

Lunch will be prepared and sold by Troop 561.

Snacks and drinks will be sold; each item will be priced separately.

*Hunters Safety requires 10 hours for certification therefore Scouts taking the Hunter Safety course will meet on Friday evening March 13 from 6pm to 10pm and Saturday regular schedule.Friday night session will be at NorthSurryHigh School.Saturday class will meet at NorthSurryHigh School regular merit badge schedule. Scouts that complete the 10 hour Hunters Safety Course will receive a Hunters Safety Certificate and patch.

A registration form has been included to sign scouts up for the merit badge they wish to take. Please return the pre-registration form by February 24, 2009 toor

The registration fee for the 2008-merit badge college will be $8.00.

This includes a $5.00 meal voucher for lunch.

Merit badge completion slips will be given out at the April Scoutmaster’s Roundtable. Please ask your scouts to review all requirements for the merit badge that they are taking to determine what they will need to complete the requirements. Any pre-requisites completed prior to MB College should be shown to counselor during merit badge session to be checked off complete.
