SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE – 15TH & 16TH DEC (YRS 2-6)
We are pleased to announce that this year’s Christmas production will be Peter Pan. All children in Yrs 2-6 will be taking part. Due to the large number of classes, we are holding TWO performances starting at 1.45pm on both 15th and 16th December. Tickets will be available from the school office and are limited to TWO per family. Unfortunately due to the nature of the show, younger siblings/babies will not be permitted to watch the performance.

YEAR 1 NATIVITY PERFORMANCE
We would like to invite all Year 1 parents to come and see their child take part in Year 1’s Nativity performance. The show is being held on Wednesday 14th December at 10.30am. We look forward to seeing you all there.

DOES YOUR CHILD LEARN AN INSTRUMENT?

Is your child learning an instrument outside of school? Are they working towards a grade or higher? We want to know! Please speak to Harriet, the Music Teacher or let the school office know.

LIBRARY
Did you know that you can use your child’s school library ticket at any Islington library to take out books? Please visit your local library to find out what exciting events are taking place over the Christmas period

LOST PROPERTY
The school try really hard to ensure that the children do not lose their uniform/clothing and they are regularly reminded to look after their belongings. It would be really helpful if parents could ensure that all items of clothing are clearly labelled with their names on (some parents use the inside of the sleeve to mark their child’s items). We have a large amount of lost property outside the school office which cannot be returned due to having no names on, so please feel free to look through the boxes. If you accidentally take another child’s uniform/coat, please return this as soon as possible as there have been cases of this happening and the item has not been returned.

News from Reception Class

Families in our Reception classes should be aware that the doors to the usual entrance from the playground are closed promptly at 9am. Any child arriving after this time must go to the main school entrance and sign in using the Inventry computer system. This ensures that all Reception children are recorded on our electronic registers and means there would be no issues in case of a fire, as we will know exactly what pupils are on site and no child will go unaccounted for. This is a very important safeguarding issue and parents must follow the instructions of all staff members regarding these procedures, for the safety of all the children in our care.
Reception Class will also be having their Christmas performance of “Snowman at Sunset” on TUESDAY 20TH DECEMBER AT 9.30AM. Please put this date in your diary.
