The Vivekananda Kendra has 690 places of work in 22 states of Mother BHARAT. The services are in the field of Yoga, Rural Development, Publications, Education, Culture and Research.

The Vivekananda Kendra’s service in the field of health began way back in 1978. The Hospital projects in PPP mode began with Numaligarh Refinery Ltd in Numaligarh, Assam which was further taken up with the Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd at Bina, Madhya Pradesh.

IOCL-VIVEKANANDA KENDRA HOSPITAL is a public private participatory project at IOCL Township, Paradip between INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LIMITED, PARADIP, ODHISHA & VIVEKANANDA KENDRA, KANYAKUMARI for ensuring quality health services through the 22 bedded hospital to the employees of IOCL. The company’s Corporate Social Responsibility foundation is strengthened by Vivekananda Kendra’s sound management experience in carrying out medica l* allied activites through the full fledged hospital. The target has been envisaged to develop it into a good Hospital.

Salary structure for the Doctors

General Duty Medical Officers will be placed in the IOCVK scale as follows

Fresh MBBS / S-0 / Rs.9000-225-10000-250-11000-300-12200
MBBS with +2Yrs Experience / S-1 / Rs.10000-250-11000-300-12200-350-13600

For Consultants, the IOCL VK scales will be as Follows :-

With PG Diploma / S-4 / Rs.14750-580-16490-640-18410-700-20510
With Ph.D/DNB / S-5 / Rs.16600-700-18700-750-20950-800-22550
Hospital Adm. Officer / Gr.VI / Rs.9100-325-10400-375-11150-400-13150-450-14950

On successful completion of their probation period the total CTC at the minimum basic of the scale will be as follows:-

S-0 / 6.81 Lacs per Annum
S-1 / 7.55 Lacs per Annum
S-4 / 10.55 Lacs per Annum
S-5 / 11.75 Lacs per Annum
VI / 4.87 Lacs per Annum

They will be provided accommodation in the township.

Deserving candidates can be given higher start and in addition to normal annual increment there is provision of performance incentive which can be upto 12% of the total CTC.

During probation they will be paid as follows:-

GDMOs / Rs. 40-45,000/- per month consolidated.
Consultants / Min. Rs.65,000/- per month consolidated
HAO / Rs.30,000/- per Month.
