Real-Time Technology

This semester in addition to using D2L for accessing course materials, asynchronous discussions, and posting of assignments, we will be using the Online Rooms. The Online Rooms will be used for synchronous meetings with your team as an option to discuss and collaborate together in real-time for the accomplishment of the team project. Teams should use D2L to brainstorm the team project and use the Online Rooms for synchronous conversations and decision-making.

Course Requirements

Course requirements include (1) Book Reflection and General Discussion, (2) Book Review and Discussion, (3) Participation in Online Group Discussions, and (4) Web-Based Course (WBC) Team Project. You can anticipate 144 hours of work for this three-credit online course including completing readings, writing assignments, participating in online group discussions, and participating in a team project. Please note that there's no final exam for this course. In lieu of a final exam, you will be completing the “Web-Based Course Team Project.”
