Counseling News:
We have a strong tradition here at RMS of supporting our friends and neighbors in need. We anticipate this holiday season to be no different. The RMS counseling department is proud to collect donations for the 2015 “Holiday House” holiday assistance program. Please consider donating gift cards (Walmart, Target, Publix etc..), board games or gently used bikes to help make this holiday season a memorable one for a child in need. Donations can be dropped off in the counseling department from now until December 9th. Please feel free to contact Dr. Brown or Mrs. Densmore for further details or if your family needs assistance – we are happy help!
Holiday House 2015 Friday & Saturday Dec. 4th, 5th, 11th & 12th
With parents shopping: Fridays 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturdays 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Each year in Forsyth County, hundreds of parents struggle to make the holidays special for their families. Join us this year as we invite the community to bless these families! Holiday House is a place where parents can shop for gifts for their children for a $3 donation per child. These funds will be used to provide emergency rental and utility assistance and various needs for families in the community. With your contributions, you can help bring holiday joy and the spirit of the season to those in need.
We Are Seeking Donations
We ask that all items donated are new with the exception of good condition used bicycles. If you would rather make a financial contribution, you can contribute to The Place of Forsyth County and indicate Holiday House.
All donations can be dropped off at:
Freedom Tabernacle Church
2160 Freedom Parkway, Cumming, GA 30041
Monday, Nov. 30th – Thursday, Dec. 3rd - 9 am – 3 p.m.
We Need Your Help
We need your help to ensure the success of the Holiday House. For more information on volunteering, hosting a toy drive, or financial donations, please contact Joni Smith at
