Title: Techniques and Tools for Supporting Secure Information Sharing and Collaborative Work
- Developed tools and techniques for information sharing from various information systems using techniques of PKI, RBAC, and PMI among users belonging to multiple agencies.
Title: Admission control with adaptive resource management for defending degrading DDoS attacks
- Implemented an Adaptive Process Allocation Strategy for Apache web server for achieving proportional responsiveness differentiation.
Title: SGFR: Enhancing the Security and Effectiveness of Collaborative Software for First Responders
- Implemented secure and robust instant messaging based group communication tool using PKI, and group key management techniques.
Title: Secure Mobile Ad Hoc Network
- A secure MANET system, called SMANET, was developed that accepts only those packets whose MAC addresses are in the Linux iptable firewall rules.
Title: Advanced content switch design

- Implemented a secure Layer-7 Application switch for routing requests to a cluster of servers based on content.
- Implemented a Layer-7 based Application switch at the kernel using Kernel based TCP Virtual Service.

Worked as Software Engineer, for a local startup company, AUTOUPTODATE SYSTEMS (Colorado Springs, CO) from Nov 2002 – Mar 2003
- Implemented a secure mailing system that removes problems in current secure mail systems, like certificate management and trust issues.
- System design and mail transfer is currently under patent proceedings (PUB. APP. NO. 20040148356).
Worked as a Software Engineer for a local startup company, ZeeWaves Systems (Colorado Springs, CO) from May 2002 – Nov 2002
- Developed propriety ZeeWaves Authentication for Wireless, which is under patent pending.
- Implemented 802.1x’s supplicant PAE.
Worked as Jr. Software Engineer for Wintech International (Hyderabad, India) from Mar 2000 – Aug 2000
- Worked on client interface and reporting tools for a web based Employee and Visitor Movement Module (EVMM) using Java servlet, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, Oracle 8.0.
