Giclée Print Show Opens at Northlight Digital Gallery Space
Anniversary Celebration Highlights Area Artists and the Expertise of Northlight Digital
White River Junction, VT — February 13, 2006 — Northlight Digital, a photo imaging and printing center in the Tip Top Media Arts Building in White River Junction, Vt., is celebrating its third anniversary with an invitational print show of artwork by their clients.
“We are celebrating the many artists who are the essence of our business. We are showcasing their talents along with our expertise in giclée printing,” says Rose O’Neill-Suspitsyna, giclée print show coordinator. “The response to this show from the invited artists has been positive and exciting for everyone involved. We also want to educate the public about specialty giclée printing, too.”
The exhibit will open on Friday, February 24, in the Northlight Digital Gallery Space. There will be a wine and cheese reception from 5 to 7 p.m. for anyone interested in viewing works from over 25 artists around New England. A few of the participating artists include:
· Painters, such as Georgina Forbes, Gaal Shepherd Crowl, Judith Lerner, Craig Pursley, Deborah Reese and Janna Genereaux
· Watercolor artists Cindy Crawford, Judith Gilbert and Nicolette Corrao
· Illustrators Meg McLean, Jim Dooley and Phil Godenschwager
· Photographers Phil Sargent, Russ Barber, Tinka McArdle, Lia Rothstein, Sean O’Connor, Tom Woodbury, John Lehet, John Sherman and Cary Rothe
· Printmakers Judith Lampe and Penny Bennett
· Eden Abram (botanical drawings), Amanda Perron (folk art/fraktur artist) and Steve Giroux (screenprinter)
Artists have selected a piece of artwork to display as a print and Northlight Digital has printed all giclées on a 17x22 archival matte paper. The signed prints will be displayed along with artist statement panels. Interested customers can contact the artists directly about purchasing the prints.
