Sir/Madam

The KendriyaVidyalayaRaghunathpura is school under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan which is an autonomous body and registered under societies registered act 1860.The Sangathan administers the scheme of Kendriya Vidyalaya Setup for imparting education to the children of transferable Central Govt. School Employees among others.

2. Sealed competitive bids are invited by KV Raghunathpura from experienced and registered Contractors (registered with CPWD/MES or any other govt. or PSU agency) for providing manpower and materials to execute the white washing and painting of school building.

Terms & Conditions of Contract –For executing white washing and Painting work on inner portion of school building (excluding outer walls) of KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA RAGHUNATHPURA, NARNAUL-123001

1)Only in the event of acceptance of the successful bid, work order will be issued to the successful tenderer. The responsibility of mentioning correct rate lies with the firm/ Tenderer. The successful tendererneed to complete the work mentioned in workorder within one month from the date of issue of a workorder. Workorder for White wash/Distemper/Paint on walls/Ceiling and workorder for Paint on Doors & Windows can be issued separately.

2)There should not be any overwriting or corrections in the bid. If a figure is to be amended, it should be neatly scored out,the revised figure should be written above and the same should be attested with full signature by the same signatory, who signed the quotations, in the absence of the attested corrections the quotations is liable to be rejected.

3)The undersigned does not bind himself to accept the lowest quotation and reserves the right to accept the quotation in whole or in part i.e., with respect to all the work mentioned in the attached statement or in respect of any one or more than onework specified in the attached statement.

4)The Tenderer will deposit with KV Raghunathpura a sum of Rs 1000/-(Rupees One thousand only) as EMD along with tender document. The EMD of Unsuccessful Tenderer will be refunded without interest. The earnest money will be forfeited in the event of failures to comply with the contract. In the event of acceptance of the tender, the earnest money will be adjusted towards Security Deposit/ Performance Security which shall be payable @ 10% of the approximate total cost. The quotations without Earnest Money Deposit, whatsoever, will not be accepted in accordance with Article 180(iv) of the Accounts Code of KVS.

5)On acceptance of the bid, it will become a contract and the Contractor shall abide by the terms and conditions of the tender. If the successful tenderer fails to supply the article/ provide services within the time stipulated in the letter of acceptance by the undersigned, the undersigned shall be at liberty to purchase the article/services from the market or get the rest of the contract completed by any other person(s) or firm and the difference of price, if any shall be deducted from the earnest money/ security deposit and in case any amount in excess of the security deposit is paid by the undersigned, the Tenderer shall be liable to pay this amount.

6)The Area mentioned is only estimated and may increase or decrease based on actual measurement of work.

7)The amount of work indicated in attached statement may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the undersigned without assigning any reason.

8)The Tenderer will be permitted to visit and take survey of the building before submitting their bid and make measurements.

9)Payment for the work will be met out after completion of a workorder. Payment however will be subject to certificate about completion of workorder and verification of measurements by work monitoring committee.

10)It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to abide by the labour law of Govt. of India while engaging labours for daily wages work.

11)It is the responsibility of the Tenderer to make necessary transport arrangement for bringing the material and no extra payment will be made for the transport.

12)The Tenderer will use the materials after getting it verified from the Vidyalaya committee in respect of its original Manufacturer’s product.

13)The Tenderer will deploy adequate number of labours in order to complete the work on time.

14)The Tenderer will be directly responsible for the administration of his employees as regards general discipline courteous behavior.

15)The Tenderer will execute the work as per convenience of School authorities and will not disturb the normal routine of school.

16)Tenderer should provide TIN, PAN no. and Service Tax no. as applicable.

17) Sealed quotations should be sent by Registered Post/By-hand should reach on or before 01.09.2016.

18)The rate should be quoted inclusive of all the taxes as applicable.

19)The payment will be made after deducting necessary taxes.

20)Registration with MES/CPWD or any other govt. or PSU agency is mandatory for bidders.
