We have great pleasure in informing you that the above mentioned Tournament will be held in Gulbargafrom 31st to 06thSeptember, 2015. The Tournament will be held at Chandrashekar Patil Indoor Stadium, Aiwan-E-Shahi, Gulbarga.

GULBARGA was known as 'KALBURGI' in former days which means stony land in Kannada. Gulbarga district is situated in the northern part of Karnataka State.

Gulbarga is 613 Km north of Bangalore and well connected by road to Bijapur, Hyderabad and Bidar. Trains from southern part of India to Mumbai and Delhi passes through Gulbarga. Shri Kshetra Gangapur a well known pilgrimage of God Shri Sadguru Dattarya is very close to Gulbarga. The climate of the district is generally dry and healthy with temperature ranging from 5c to 45c. The nearest Airport is Rajiv Gandhi Airport,Shamshabad, at Hyderabad at a distance of 200 kms.

The following events will be conducted in the Under 13 and Under 15age categories.

Entry Fees for Qualifying Rounds Only :

Singles Rs. 500/-Doubles Rs. 1,000/-

Players should pay entry fees by Cash / DD / Cheque immediately on arrival. Cheques / DD’s are to be drawn in favour of “ GULBARGA DISTRICT BADMINTON ASSOCIATION”.

Please note that both the Main Draw and Qualifying Rounds of this Tournament will be played over Best of Three Games of 21 Points (Boys / Girls). The Total Cash Award on offer will be Rs. 3/- Lakhs (as per BAI Circular). This is a Ranking Tournament i.e., being organized under the auspices of Karnataka Badminton Association and co-ordinated by Gulbarga District Badminton Association.

The Last date for receipt of entries is : 12th August, 2015. We request you to collect the entries of eligible players at your end and send the same to us in one consolidated letter giving the following particulars.

ENTRIES : Kindly note as per the new BAI guidelines the consolidated entries should be sent through the member associations to latest by 12th August, 2015
