Dear Incoming SDSU Student:
Congratulations on your acceptance to South Dakota State University. Your acceptance suggests that you share many of the same skills and abilities which have served the thousands of graduates of SDSU preceding you.
Paying for a college education is one of the most challenging aspects of university life. To assist you, the South Dakota Alpha Chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity is awarding the Balanced Man Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00. This scholarship is being awarded for the Spring semester of 2017 to an incoming male student who has excelled in areas of scholarship, leadership, athletics, and community service during his high school career. We want to reward men who exemplify these qualities, as we believe they are essential to leading a balanced life. To qualify, you must be attending South Dakota State University in the Fall 2016 semester and Spring semester of 2017, as well as maintained a GPA of above 3.2 while staying active throughout high school. Please return the enclosed application with specified documents, along with a copy of your official high school transcript to:
