Annual Fees

Thank you to everyone for completing your renewal membership forms and your continued support. Anyone that still has to complete the forms, please do so ASAP.

*Note: Swimming fees are for pool hire, SASA licence and inclusion to the Novice and Fife Leagues. ALL COACHES, committee members and poolside helpers are VOLUNTEERS' and receive no payment for the time and services they provide to our club.

Every swimming event that takes place relies upon parents from all levels (Gold, Silver and Bronze) to provide cover for each specific role. There are a number of roles we are keen to develop and ensure we have the right level of cover to support all the clubs activities i.e.

  • Timekeeping
  • Team Manager
  • Technical Officials/Judges
  • General help and support

If we fail to provide these for certain galas and leagues we as a club may be fined. If you can assist us in anyway please do not hesitate to get in touch with us on :-

Swimming News

12th February Fife League – A big well done to all our swimmers that attended both the morning and the afternoon. A great number of PB’s achieved, keep up the hard work WELL DONE! It has to be noted that DASC, as well as other clubs, were down on the number of accredited officials and this has meant that event cannot be recognised as an official meet (each time this happens the respective clubs are charged a fee for failure to provide the correct level of support).

Swimming meets

  • Fife & Novice Leagues 2 - 5th March @ Glenrothes (We are duty club in the afternoon, which, means that we have to provide more support to aid the smooth running of the event. If you have expressed your interest in helping, please let us know this week so that we can allocate roles on the day i.e. ensuring swimmers are in the right places etc). The roles are as follows (meet at 12.00pm):
  • Help out at reception (1 person)
  • Help with raffle (1 person)
  • Marshalls (3 people, one organising, one at blocks and one ushering swimmers to blocks)
  • Recorder/Runner (2 people, to hand out start sheets, refreshments and to help display results)
  • Team Manager for our swimmers (1 person)
  • Spring Meet - 18th March @ Glenrothes
  • Falkirk Otters – 24th & 25th March @ Grangemouth Sports Complex
  • Fife & Novice Leagues 3 - 23rd April @ Glenrothes
  • Carnegie Mini Meet - 30th April @ Glenrothes
  • INCAS distance meet - 13th/14th May @ Glenrothes
  • Fife & Novice Leagues 4 - 21st May @ Glenrothes
  • DASC Junior Sprint (our own event for 8-11 year olds, please check your diaries and register your interest)24th June @ Glenrothes
