RE : 21st Tiger Bowls World Invitation 2018

7th “Belt and Road Cup” China Open 2018

2018 will see the advent of the “Tiger Bowls-World Invitation” in Hong Kong
and “Belt and Road” China Open in Shenzhen and Zhuhai, China. These
prestigious tournaments are endorsed by World Bowls Limited and are poised
to become one of the signature events on the international bowls calendar.
Our aims are to promote the sport of lawn bowls internationally whilst also
increasing the players’ skills through competition against world-class teams.
At the same time, we hope to build friendship amongst associations across
the global.
With this in mind, we want to cordially invite your association to send your
national team to participate in these truly world class bowls events. We look
forward to welcoming top International competitors from overseas countries
including: Argentina, Australia, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, China,

Cook island, Cyprus, Dubai, England, Fiji, Guernsey, Hong Kong, India,

Ireland, Isle of Man, Israel, Japan, Jersey, Kenya, Macao, Malawi, Malaysia, Malta, Namibia, Netherland, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Papua New Guinea, Pakistan, Philippines, Portugal, Samoa, Scotland, Spain, South Africa,

Swaziland, Thailand, Wales, USA, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

The competition will run from 10th to 11th March, 2018 for Hong Kong and 13th to 17th March, 2018 for Shenzhen and Zhuhai, China. However, we expect that all players

will arrive Hong Kong on or before 9th March, 2018 and depart Zhuhai, China

on 18th March, 2018.

Your entry fees include the following:

1. Hotel accommodation for 9 nights from 9th to 17th March, 2018.

(Breakfast, lunches & dinners during the competition days)

2. Transportation between the tournament venue and hotel.

and also the transport from Hong Kong to Shenzhen and Zhuhai

will be provided.

3. Prize presentation dinners will be hosted on Sunday 11th March in

Hong Kong and on Saturday 16th March 2018 in Shenzhen and Zhuhai,

China.

4. One day tour sight- seeing at Macau, China.

5. Two Tiger Bowls T-shirts.

6. Souvenirs.

The Airfare cost will be borne by the participant, however, we as

event organizers, will provide hotel accommodation from 9th to 17th march

2018. Meals and transportation between the tournament venue and hotel

accommodation will be provided on competition days. Prize presentation

dinners will be hosted on Sunday 11th March and on Friday 17th march 2018.

We should be most grateful if your association would reply to this official

invitation by 10th January 2018. The schedule, play format and other detailed

information will be forwarded to you as soon as possible.
