The information is required SOLELY to enable organisers of field courses, lab work and other activities you may undertake to be alerted to any special requirements or precautions which may be necessary.

The Welcome Party is your opportunity to meet informally with other students new to The Faculty of Science and Engineering as well as some current students and your academic staff.

A representative of the Students’ Union will outline all the extra-curricular activities you can enjoy, including; sports clubs and societies, volunteering, and how the Union is the hub of social life whilst studying. Today are the Graduation Ceremonies for students who have completed their degrees. Please feel free to visit the large marquees on the Hoe and see the venue where this takes place. The Marine Science and Engineering ceremony is at 10.00.

You must collect your University card sometime TODAY from room 102a/b Smeaton. Your card is used for entry to the Library, some room entry, handing in coursework etc.
You must complete Online Enrolment and upload a photo prior to attending this session.
The photo is required for your University Card which is issued to new students when you attend Faculty Induction. Failure to provide a photo will delay the production of your University Card.
NB: this is not required if you already have a University Card i.e. because you were previously a student on another course or at a Partner College. Your University Card will remain valid for the duration of your studies at Plymouth University. If you already have a card you do not need to attend this session. / Room 102a/b Smeaton Building
