Personal Statement

Applicants are asked to compose a personal state of approximately 500-750 worlds in English. The statement should make the case for the applicants’ suitability for the program. Student’s expectations for the program should be stated. If you are applying for multiple DRCLAS programs, you may address that in the statement and clarify why you have applied to each program.

[Colegio de Mexico applicants have a choice of spending 5 or 8 weeks at ColMex. If you would like to stay for 8 weeks, please include a research topic or interest that you would pursue during the portion of this program that is dedicated to reading and/or field research. If you have a particular Colegio de Mexico faculty member in mind that you would ideally work with, please let us know. ]
