Instructions on how to use
- Needs to be given to the customer (debtor/bill payer) at the start of the Green Deal Journey, such as in the letter that needs to be sent prior to the survey.
- Does not require a signature but is mandatory that the customer receives it and proof may be required at a later date.
- These are in addition to the credit check form A and B that are required by GDFC to be sent out, for details on these documents please refer to GDFC guidelines.

This notice is issued on behalf of all relevant organisations that may collect, share and useyour personal information to process your Green Deal application and plan. Details for these organisations are available at
Use of Personal Data
The personal information that we will process includes, but is not limited to, your contact details, information about your electricity supply and payments, and details of your credit history.
We will protect and process your personal information in accordance with our data protection policy, a copy of which is available on request or online at ].co[ ].
We will use personal information which you supply to us primarily to carry out our obligations to you under any agreements we have entered into (or intend to enter into) with you, including any Green Deal agreement(s). This may include using your personal information:
- To centrally register your property’s energy performance, and to process your Green Deal application(s);
- To make credit, fraud prevention and other similar enquiries into your financial standing in order to make lending decisions about you;
- To collect repayments against any credit provided;
- To enable a sale or transfer to a third party of any amounts owningunder your Green Deal plan;
- For providing loan administration services such as tracking your payment history and providing statements, as well as audit and debt collection purposes; and
- For statistical analysis.
Sharing your information
We may share your information with (and obtain information about you from) different organisations to enable the delivery of Green Deal (including enabling repayments and debt recovery), for example with:
- Any organisation providing us with finance relating to your Green Deal agreement(s) with us;
- Your electricity or other energy supplier, and anyone who has been your energy supplier, or who we have been told will become your energy supplier;
- The electricity bill payer or property improver (if you are not bill payer and improver) at the property where the work will be carried out;
- With the relevant insurance organisation(s) if you require insurance or product guarantees, who may place your data onto a register of claims and share with other parties to help prevent fraudulent claims
- Any person who is a prospective buyer, tenant or the landlord of the property where the work will be carried out, and/or their agents.
- The Secretary of State, the relevant Ombudsmen, The Office of Fair Trading, UKAS, and Green Deal certification bodies or any other person as required by law, regulation or in connection with legal proceedings;
- The Green Deal Oversight and Registration Body;
- It may be provided to any other company in any corporate group of which we are a member or any company, business or intermediary associated with us, including third parties that provide services on our behalf.
- Any party to whom we transfer, or may transfer, our rights and obligations under your Green Deal agreement(s);
