Circular.
In order to facilitate compliance with the directions of Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka in WP. Nos. 28853-55 dated 29-06-2014 and decisions of the Syndicate in its 114th meeting held on 25/07/2015, the following directions are being issued in respect of Eligibility Certificate, to be strictly followed by all concerned with immediate effect.
1)Application from the individual applicants for issue of eligibility certificate shall be entertained only till the ‘Last Date of Admission’ prescribed in the calendar of Events.
2)Principal of the institution shall consolidate and submit all the applications for eligibility wherever required.Such applications shall be submitted along with the prescribed fee and all other prescribed documents along with the hard copy of the e-mail / on line admission statement containing the list of students admitted within the date prescribed in the calendar of events for ‘submission of hard copy of the e-mail’. Acknowledgement for the same may be obtained from the respective office.
3)Deficient documents, if any, along with the prescribed fine has to submitted within three weeks from the last date prescribed under column (2). University shall not receive deficient documents/ fee/ fine, after the time specified herein.
4)University shall not make any correspondence with the institutions regarding any deficient document/ fee.
5)Principals are expected to interact with the University to track the status of processing of applications of the students admitted in their college for issue of eligibility certificate and submit the deficient documents and fee within the prescribed date.
6)University shall close the exercise of issuing eligibility certificates fifteen days before the ‘last date for hosting approved and disapproved list of admissions in the University web site’ as specified in the calendar of events.
7)University shall not be responsible for the consequences of non-submission of applications, deficient document, prescribed fee/ fine within the prescribed time.
