  • Reminder that if you are already a member and would like to become a Lifetime member see Doug on paying the remaining part of your dues to equal $400.00 (within your first 12 months).

Secretary Minutes:

  • Motion made and passed to accept minutes from previous GA as posted via CPOA website and email.

House Committee:

  • Dart Tournament on the 11th and 23rd at 1730.
  • Spelling Bee on the 24th will be moved to March due to a scheduling conflict with Family Bowling Night.
  • Poker Night on the 18th at 1700.

Fundraising Committee:

  • $580.00 was deposited from the fundraising committee.
  • Warrior Dash on the 14th of May, Bryan Huskey has the helm.

Com Rel Committee:

  • Three Oaks Community Service,on the 18th of February at 1430, we need more participation from the Chief’s.

Training Committee:

  • Reviewed new OPNAV’s, NAVADMIN’s, and ALNAV’s.
  • For more information see separate correspondence from Josh Cooper.

Special Events Committee:

  • SOQ Luncheon on the 19th starting at 1100.
  • Family Bowling Night, on the 24th.
  • Cigar Night w/Mike on February9th and 25th, from 1600-1800.
  • Home Buying Seminar w/Matt on the 17th at 1200.
  • Wine and Dine is still being researched. Original plan of hosting it at the Locker was more expensive than anticipated.

Old Business:

  • MOTION PASSED. To spend up to $400 to cater a SOQ/BJOQ Luncheon at the Locker on the 22nd of January, from 1100-1300. The date has been changed to the 19th of February.
  • Interest was expressed in getting a new photo of all the active Chiefs on base, to hang up in the Locker. Planning to schedule the photo op during the Chief’s Birthday Week.
  • By-law review is still in progress, should be finalized and dispersed to the Mess by the end of the month.

New Business:

  • MOTION PASSED. To allot $1,000 for CPO Birthday Ball starter funds.
  • CPOA Fundraising for Birthday Ball was tabled.
  • CPO Birthday Celebration Schedule of Events.

31 March:

0800- Colors and run with the Goats (all invited). Uniform: CPO Pride Shirt.

01 April:

0800- Colors at BLDG 409 Flagpole. Uniform: Service Khakis w/Combo Cover.

0900- 18 hole Khaki Golf Tournament.Cost is $55 per person. Chiefs and

Officers are invited, POC is ATC Stew Wallin.

1200- Cake Cutting Ceremony w/ Naval History and Heritage, POC ATCS James

Dice.

09 April:

TBD- Dining Out at AnnMarie Gardens.

  • If you haven’t placed your mug order get with Paulo Osorio.
  • The next General Assembly meeting will be on Wednesday, March2nd@ 1100 at the Goat Locker.

We would like your input on how we can improve, things that we haven’t done in a while, things that you liked at your last command or anything else you’d like to see.All retired, reservist, and active Chiefs are eligible for CPOA membership.

The CPOA’s By-laws, Goat Locker business rules, discussion forum, event/grill/locker use reservations, and events calendar are posted on our website.
