What you can expect from LIFT
We could not deliver the ambition and scale of LIFT without our volunteers. The LIFT team are there to support you and help you to have the best possible experience over the festival, whatever your motivation.
Volunteers will gain valuable experience as part of the LIFT team, making connections with theatre companies and performance venues as well as the opportunity to attend dress rehearsals, LIFT 2016 events and parties, and to join our priority mailing list.
Please note that all voluntary roles are unpaid. If you have any concerns, please let us know.

Production Volunteer
The role of the production volunteer is to support the production team during the rehearsal period of the production, responding to needs and requirements of the cast and crew, to ensure the smoothest possible rehearsal period. Due to the large amount of contact this volunteer will have with cast and crew, the ability to speak Spanish is desirable but not essential.
The role will run from the 16th – 24th May and will be based in Stratford Circus, please only apply if you are available over these dates.
Roles and Responsibilities
-Support the production team and cast during the rehearsal period.
-Be available to respond to needs of the cast and crew, throughout this period including running errands, collecting goods and materials.
-Be available to source and purchase items to be used in the rehearsal period and in performance, including collecting receipts and demonstrating spend.
-Generate and/or disseminate documents to be used in the rehearsal process
-Gather photographic, filmic and written documentation of the rehearsal process for either marketing or archival purposes.
-Be on hand to support on practical tasks such as the making and building of set and props to be used in the rehearsal process and performance.
-Be aware of and responsive to the guidelines and rules of the rehearsal space and safety procedures, and following these rules and procedures.
-Be aware of and broadly communicate, wherever possible, the LIFT environmental policy.
