The goal of the Blended Student Agreement is to increase student preparation and performance in Blended Classes. This outline of support resources, as well as student responsibilities, ensures that all blended students have been informed of the best practices for students prior to beginning a blended course.
Blended Learning is defined as an education program in which the student learns through a combination of online learning, with some student control over time, place, path, and/or pace. Some of the instruction takes place in a supervised, brick-and-mortar location on a high school campus, but the student can also contact their teacher(s) through various methods (text message, message board post, or email) to get assistance as well.
Please consider the following requirements before taking a blended course:
- I understand that students that are successful in Blended Learning must be comfortable with asking their teacher for clarification in Blended Learning procedures, due dates, technology issues, and of course, the content of course(s) they are taking with theteacher.
- IamawareIhavetheappropriatesoftwarerequiredfor myonlinecourse(i.e.AdobeReader,MSWord,etc..all LEUSD computers have the appropriate software. - Courses are accessible from any internet connection (home, library, Starbucks, etc..) All schools are equipped with high-speed internet access. I understand that completing my work only at school on a limited basis will limit my ability to complete a blendedcourse.

- If I am taking Blended Courses as a full time student, I will be enrolled at the school under the guidelines of Course Based Independent Study. As such, a Master Agreement must also be completed before the courses begin.
