Eric Gurr CPA, LLC
Here is your organizer to assist you in gathering the information necessary information for your business tax return for 2009.
The Internal Revenue Service matches information returns with amounts reported on income tax
returns. Accordingly, all Forms 1099, W2’s, Schedules K-1 and other information returns reflecting amounts reported to theInternal Revenue Service should be submitted with this organizer.
Your 2009 Partnership/LLC tax returns are due on April 15, 2010. However, to ensure your partners/members can file their personal tax returns timely, we will need to complete the Partnership/LLC tax returns prior to April 1, 2010. To meet this filing deadline, your completed tax organizer, profit & lost statements, and related information need to be received no later than February March 15, 2010. As you review and complete the organizer, please indicate “NA” for questions or information that is “Not Applicable” to your particular return.
If an extension of time is required, any tax that may be due must be paid with the
extension. Any taxes not paid by the filing deadline may be subject to late payment
penalties and interest when those taxes are actually paid. Although no taxes are generally due with an Partnership/LLC tax return, the IRS will charge a nonfiling penalty if the tax return or extension is not filed timely. These fees are $500.00 per return.
We will perform the following services: 1. Prepare your federal, state and local income tax returns with supporting schedules. 2. Perform any bookkeeping necessary for preparation of the income tax returns. 3. Provide tax planning for 2010 based on your 2009 tax return and the new or proposed 2010 tax law changes.
We will use professional judgment in resolving questions where the tax law is unclear, or where
there may be conflicts between the taxing authorities’ interpretations of the law and the
supportable positions. Unless otherwise instructed by you, we will resolve such questions in
your favor whenever possible.
We will begin scheduling appointments next week.
We look forward to providing services to you. Should you have any questions regarding any
items, please do not hesitate to contact us.
