You are Not Alone:

Emptiness and Interconnection

A day of Mindfulness & Inquiry

with Frank Ostaseski and the Sandpoint Sangha

Saturday, May 16,20159:00 am – 5:00 pm

Great Northwest Territories Center, Naples, Idaho

Buddhists traditionally speaks of the Three Marks of Existence as: emptiness, impermanence, and suffering. A friend and Zen teacher has restated this teaching as, “Everything is connected; nothing lasts; you are not alone.”

There is nothing and no one with whom we are not connected. This means that we are continually interacting with everyone, everything in this wonderful world in which we live. It’s a mutual exchange in which we are always receiving and giving.

Everything is embedded in this context, endlessly shifting and changing, yet always connected. While we are each unique, there is no independent existence apart from this context. So we are never alone even in our suffering.

During this day we will explore the impact of these teachings on our personal and interpersonal lives. We will come together as a community for a day of mindful and joyful exploration.

Everyone is welcome.
