Gregory Seahurst Swim and Tennis Club is proud to host the 2015 Girls’ Preliminary Meet. Listed below is pertinent information for your convenience.

Clerk of Course

  • Clerk of course will be located at the Southwest corner of the pool. Please notify your swimmers of this location and have them report to the Clerk of Course at the first call of their event.
  • Seniors need to only check in at Clerk of Course, they do not need to sit through staging. But please have them check in, so we aren’t calling for them.

Pool Logistics

  • Both locker rooms will be used for girls/women at the meet and boys will be in the porta potties out in the parking area
  • Team seating will be on the grassy area behind the locker rooms. The tennis courts will be closed.

Concessions:

  • Concessions will be open beginning at 2:30pm and will have the normal swim meet fare.
  • There will be a taco truck in the pool parking lot selling tacos, burritos and quesadillas.

Heat Sheets/Results:

  • As a courtesy, this year we will be emailing a complete heat sheet (pdf file) to coaches and your team coordinators a couple days prior to the meet. PLEASE email them out to your swim families so that they can print off their electronic copy and bring it with them to the meet.
  • After the meet, we will email out the results.

Parking

  • Parking at the Gregory Seahurst lot will be limited to the coaches, timers and officials whose names have been submitted the week prior to the meet.
  • Disabled parking spots will be available with prior reservation only. Please email Lori Box at by Friday, July 24 for a reserved spot.
  • Visitors should park in the surrounding neighborhood. Please respect “NO PARKING” or cones/caution tape and avoid blocking driveways. The Normandy Park police will ticket and/or tow cars parked illegally south of the pool (168th and further south).
  • Please drive slowly on the side streets, watch for kids.

Swimmer Drop off:

  • Swimmers can be dropped off at the corner of 167th and 19th. Cars will not be allowed in the parking lot for drop-off.

TIMELINE:

1:45 – pool area opens

2:00 – first warm up starts

3:00 – coaches scratch meeting at clerk of course tents (southwest end of pool)

3:20 – pool is open to all clubs for a 20-minute general warm-up

3:30 – officials meeting at SW end of pool

3:40 – timers meeting at SWend of pool

3:50– team cheers and first calls

3:58 – National Anthem

4:00 – meet starts
