**All instructions as to length, format etc. are included in your text on the indicated page numbers. Think of the Temas as short 2-3 pg. college level essays. Pay attention to the prompts! They are there to help you. You have all completed ENG 101-102 or 108-109. This is a formal college “English” essay class in Spanish.

Note on Temas: Follow the prompts. There is a “modelo” included. 2-3 pg as per appropriateness for assignment. MLA format= margins, paragraphs, dbl. spaced.

Additional Comments:

  • Notice the due dates are “approximate”. This is meant to afford you more

leeway and freedom in completion to fit your own schedule. Some students

generate two at a time, others do them sequentially. I had one highly literate (and very busy) bilingual Spanish student with a college degree from Peru complete them allby the second deadline and get an A!Pace yourselves: No pressure, but keep up with it according to therecommended “due dates” schedule. You’ll be glad you did! Do not get behind.

NO INCOMPLETES! All essays must be successfully completed with

a passing grade by Wed. 5/18. As a courtesy to your instructor and yourself—COMPLETE THEMAS YOU PROGRESS THROUGH THE SEMESTER.

  • If you purchased an older edition of Talleror the online vtext your page numbers may not matchprecisely. No matter. Go to the text and find a reasonable substitute for the theme.Ex: 3B “Narrativa Personal”, just find the prompts for a Personal Narrativ, nay Personal Narrative.
  • I can be flexible and work around your individual needs: Just keep in contact with me! Update me. Let me know (Again, not in May at the end of the semester!)
  • The grammar components as mentioned above are largely optional, but highly

recommended especially! For native speakers who still do not understand

diacritical marks, accent placement or formal grammar. The added exercises

will also help you a great deal with the formal aspect of the essays!
