Dear Friends of Rotary:

The Rotary Club of Cortland will be hosting the 12Th annual Run in the Sun (formerly the Night Flight Race) on Saturday, August 7, 2010. The event will take place in conjunction with the Summer Sizzle which is hosted by: The Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center located at 520 West Main Street, Cortland, Ohio. The first race will be a 1 Mile Community Fun Run and Walk which will start at 11:30 a.m. A 5K Trail Race will start at 12:00 p.m. and a Youth Balloon Race will start at 1:30 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony, door prizes, food, and entertainment.

Proceeds from this annual event will benefit the various community projects for which the Rotary Club of Cortland provides much needed funding. Examples of Cortland Rotary past contributions are: College scholarships to Lakeview High School Seniors, funds for Lakeview Booster Clubs, Cortland Area Cares (CAC); Rotary Park; Imagination Station; Trumbull County Orthopedic Equipment Fund; Camelot Riding Center; Warren Family Mission and many more community projects.

In order for the Rotary Club of Cortland to continue funding these projects, we need your support. Attached is a list noting the sponsorship levels in which you can participate. Please help us to keep Cortland and its surrounding communities growing strong now and into the future!
