November 14 PPRC and Pastor Advisory Reports mailed
December 15 Updated Church and Pastor Profiles due in District Office (427.1 & 427.2) and on-line
December 19 PPRC and Pastor Advisory Reports due
Pastor or PPRC requesting changes after December 31 may be deferred for consideration until after Annual Conference
December 29 Deadline notice to DS for Pastors/Churches interested in Associate Pastor
January 9 DS indicates to Cabinet Secretary those pastors/churches considered for Change of Appointment/Status/Salary Reduction through preliminary District Advisory Response Summary with potential moves and by whom initiated with brief synopsis of reason(s)
January 9 Tentative PERSONNEL REPORT due to Cabinet Secretary from DS
January 9-February 13 DS continues consultation with PPRC/Pastor where a change seems imminent (426 & 427)
January 9-February 13 Each DS Compiles final District Advisory Response Summary with potential moves and by whom initiated with brief synopsis of reasons
January - February Individual Meetings between Bishop and each DS about Advisory
Response Summary and Potential Moves
February 9 (noon) Final District Advisory Response Summary due to Cabinet Secretary
February 9 (noon) Updated Personnel Report due to Cabinet Secretary
February 19 Potential Appointment Change Preview by Cabinet
February 20 DS Email to Cabinet Secretary: Final Personnel Report (Retired, PL, etc)
March 2-7 Initial Cabinet Appointment-making Session
March 9 Begin Appointment Release - DS consultation with PASTOR AND PPRC about appointment (428.3 & 428.5)
March 16 and following Introductory Visit date arranged for Pastors with PPRC's by DS. PPRC Chair shall prepare for visit to church and parsonage (428.10)
April 28-29 Cabinet meets and makes any adjustments in appointments & continues consultations as needed
May 1 DS Letter to "Moving" Pastors and PPRC
June 11 Appointments fixed by Bishop and celebrated at Annual Conference
