Our Venue
Only 8 km’s on the Durban side of Pietermaritzburg, you will find the beautiful bushveld surrounding of Ishona Langa Wildlife Sanctuary. This provides an ideal environment for that perfect bushveld wedding you always dreamed of.
Our open air reception bushveld fire boma provides you with that feeling of being outdoors and in the bush. Our reception area can accommodate up to 250 guests.
Ishona Langa not only provides you with that ”outdoor feeling” reception area but also with a beautiful Chapel that would make your wedding ceremony something to be remembered by. After the ceremony your guest can enjoy cocktails and be entertained by 265 differed bird spices.
The Giraffe, Zebra and a variety of buck roaming around on the Sanctuary, will allow you to take those perfect wedding photos.
At Ishona Langa we believe that every bridle couple, is our only couple and we will make sure that you get the best customise wedding package to suit your needs.

Terms and Conditions
1.Payment terms
1.1Deposit
-To secure and confirm your booking of the venue a 20% non refundable deposit is required on agreed function quotation.
-Additional 30% deposit is required 6 months prior to your function.
-The outstanding balance of your quotation is payable 3 weeks prior to your function date.
-A Refundable deposit of R1000 is payable 3 weeks prior to the Function for any damage or breakages of any consumables that belongs to Ishona Langa.
1.2Cancellations
-In the event of a cancellation 7 - 8 months prior to the function the 20% non refundable deposit will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
-In the event of cancellation 4 -6 months prior to the function, the 50 % deposit paid will be forfeited as a cancellation fee.
1.3Payment
-As we do not accept cheques, all moneys must be deposited directly into our bank account.
-R1000 deposit for breakage will be paid back to you the morning after your function.
