9am start Ring 1 - Class 1. Ring 2,9-10am CLEAR ROUND- £5 entry on day

Class 1 40cm – Warm up and beginner class – 12yrs and under, assisted and lead reins allowed. Single round no jump off. Specials to be awarded

To start at 10.30, course walk 10.20:

Class 2a 60cm – 10 Years & under – Junior Series Teams and individuals – PC only

Class 2b 60com – Individuals - any age

Class 3 70cm – 12 Years & under - Teams and individuals – PC members only

Class 3b 70cm – Individuals – any age

Class 4 80cm – 12 Years & under -Teams and individuals – PC members only

Class 4b 80cm – Individuals – any age

Classes 5 & 6 – Horses and ponies will jump together but be judged separately if enough entries. Not to start before 3.30pm. Any age. Rosettes to 4th, £20 1st, £10 2nd & £5 3rd.

Class 6 1m Open

11.00am Classes 2 – 6 2nd Round TIMED

All heights stated are the maximum height in the 1st round. The 2nd round will be timed.

Rosettes to 4th place for individuals, 6th place for PC teams & individuals Classes 2, 3 & 4.

Area 3 Junior Series - Class 2-4 are qualifiers for the Final of the Area 3 Junior Series in October 2017. This competition is for teams of 3 or 4. All competitors will jump two rounds. Individuals may enter and will be put into teams. The best three scores will count. The second round will be a jump off course, timed and used in the event of ties and individual places. Team members will also be judged as individuals. The top 2 teams and 4 individuals in each class will qualify, qualification passes down the line if already qualified in a team or as an individual. To be run under the Pony Club Novice Show Jumping rules 2017 with certain exceptions please see Middleton Hunt PC web site for Rules. Class 2 – Properly fitted grass reins are permitted for safety reasons, The Final will held in October 2017.

General Rules:

All Classes – ages as stated on class description as PC age

This competition is run under Pony Club rules 2017; no jewellery is allowed; hard hats must to be worn at all times. No spurs are allowed without their DC’s permission. Jackets and ties or stocks must be worn hair must either be above the collar or securely contained in a hairnet. Any objections must be lodged with £20.00 within 15 minutes of the occurrence. This will only be returned if the objection is upheld. The judges’ decision will be final

Health & Safety: The organisers have taken every responsible precaution to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, members of the public and competitors alike must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must comply with the organizers and all Officials and Stewards. No liability will be accepted by the organizers, or landowners or anyone acting on their behalf for loss, damage, accident, or illness to horse, rider, spectator or any other person or property whatsoever. All non- Pony Club competitors must hold their own public liability insurance cover.

Entry Fee – Class 1 - £8 in advance, £10 entry on the day

Class 2, 3 & 4 – Junior Series entries in advance only, £10 individual£40 per team.

Classes 2 – 6 individuals - £10 in advance, £15 on the day.
