25m, 8-lane pool, anti- turbulence lane ropes with electronic timing.
Computer run pre-seeded programme and fast results service. Good spectator and team seating. Large score board. Cafeteria facilities.
Programme planned to enable and encourage swimmers to swim many different events.
Saturday two sessions 12:30pm to 7.45pm and Sunday two sessions 09:00am to 5.00pm.
100m Open HDW all strokes (aged 10 and over)

100IM for 9 to 12 year olds
All 100m and 200m events have age- grouped awards
All events have upper limit times

TAUNTON DEANE AND STREET DECEMBER LEVEL 3 OPEN MEET 2016 CONDITIONS
3rd and 4th December 2016, Hutton Moor 25M POOL, Weston-Super-Mare
1 The meet will be held under Under ASA Laws and Regulations and Technical Rules of Racingand has been licensed by the ASAfor entry into County and Area Championships and Competitions.
2 All competitors must be members of an affiliated club, eligible to compete and registered in accordance with ASA laws and technical rules and may enter in the name of one club only.
3 The promoter (Taunton Deane Swimming and Street and District Swimming) reserves the right to reject any entry without giving a reason. By submitting entries on the official entry forms and discs, clubs and competitors accept the rules of this competition. Competitors whose entries are accepted and subsequently found to have been entered in the wrong event(s) a) because of incorrect entry information will be withdrawn from the event(s) and will not have their entry fees refunded. However, b) because of error by the organizer, will be withdrawn from the event(s) and will at the organizer’s discretion and without further obligation or liability by the organizer either a) be entered in the correct event or b) receive a refund of the relevant entry fee(s).
4 The pool is 25m and the competition will be swum short course. Anti-wave devices will be in place and electronic timing/placing will be used wherever possible. The organizer reserves the right to ban the use of gas hooters, klaxons etc., which in the organizers opinion, could be a hazard or a danger to swimmers, officials or spectators.
5 Entries with times converted for a 25m pool should be made via Hy-Tek team manager and e-mailed to . Printout of Hy-Tek entry file (or clerical entry form if applicable) and payment form should reach the Meet Committee by 14th November 2016. The entry fee is £5.00 per event. Coach passes are £12.00 each. Spectator entry £5.00 for the weekend. The Weekend Event programme will be provided electronically. Cheques should be made payable to Taunton Deane Swimming. Entry information will be sent to Club Secretaries, via email, on receipt of entries and correct fees
6 Competitor’s entry times should be based on times actually achieved. As many heats as possible will be run in the time available for the Meet. The promoters reserve the right to amend the number of heats in each event depending on entry numbers. There are maximum qualifying times on all events.
7 The promoters will be accepting entries on a ‘first come’ basis.Each received entry disc/form will be numbered, and these entries will, assuming that there are no errors, be fully accepted in sequence, until the age-grouped heats have started to be filled. As soon as possible after the closing date, any information in respect of entries not accepted will be sent to clubs/competitors. All refunds will be made ‘en block’ to the club submitting the entries, these will be sent by post or available for collection by Clubs on the day. There will be no refunds for withdrawals after the closing date. Coach packs will be available for collection on the day of the Meet.
8 All events are being swum as open age, however awards will be age grouped. Ages will be as at 4th December 2016. Swim Meet entries may be managed by computer. By submitting entries, consent is thereby given, as required under the data Protection Act of 1998, to the holding of personal information on a computer. Personal data, including submitted and recorded times, may be made public during the meet.
9 Under ASA child protection laws all spectators wishing to use cameras must register with the door admission staff.
10 The meet will be run without cards. Heats will be pre seeded. Swimmers do not need to sign in. The organizers reserve the right to amend the running order of the events and to add non-scoring swimmers at their sole discretion should it become necessary. If time permits the organisers reserve the right to accept ‘Deck Entries’ on the day however these swimmers will be entered as Time Trials only. Swimmers must comply with the Meet maximum qualifying times required.
11 All events will be HDW. Entries will be seeded into heats from submitted times, these will be seeded before the event, where swimmers have withdrawn the lane will be left empty. Slowest heats will be swum first. All heats will be placed in ‘spearhead’ formation.
12 Competitors must report to the stewards 2 events prior to their event.
13 There will be medals for the top three overall swimmers in each age group. Any disqualified swimmer will not receive awards. There will also be awards for Top Boy & Top Girl. These will be calculated using a points system based on swimmers achieving 1st to 8th places in each of the events in each age band. Top Visiting Club award will be calculated using the same points system.
14 Only swimmers reporting for their event and appointed officials are allowed on poolside during the competition. During warm-ups only coaches holding the valid Meet pass will be allowed on poolside. Wet swimmers are not allowed in spectator areas.
15 There is good parking adjacent to the Pool complex, and cafeteria facilities within the complex.
16 The promoter reserves the right to make any alterations to these conditions if necessary and all participants will be notified. Any matter not covered by these conditions or by ASA laws or technical rules will be at the promoter’s discretion.
17 Any swimmer breaking these conditions will be liable to disqualification from any or all events.
18 All visiting Clubs are requested to supply at least one official per session where more than 8 swimmers are entered.
