- School Improvement Plan (SIP) Development – Parent Input
- Mid-Year Reflection
Child did not score as high on BSA compared to FSA from 2016. Not all materials had been taught. Mitigation plan was put in place to make sure students could make successful gains on FSA
- School-Wide Positive Behavior Plan
Behavior Plan group came together 90% of teachers approved the ballot.
3 Expectations: Be Respectful, Responsible and Safe
Areas of concerns included cafeteria, playground,and hallways

- PLC Schedule 2017-2018 Entered
Learning plan for teachers has been entered. Still to be entered is behavior plan, inclusion plan, etc.

*parent input Mrs. Maldonado asked question about substitutes and how the money was allocated and was it different from if a teacher called in sick.

*Parent input: Mrs. Dale questions where the Title 1 meeting would be and discussed how she felt the planners were very helpful

Mr. Gonzalez comment clarification on 4th grade reading and to fix numbers on compact.
Mrs. Maldonado K: questioning why only K had Reading Across Broward and it was recommended to be added to all grade levels.
Mrs. McGrath will make edits
Mrs. Crosby made motion to approve with edits, Mrs. Almedia2nd. Vote was unanimous compact is approved
- Title 1 Parent Engagement Survey 2016- 2017 Results Available April 26, 2017 – Discussion – Parent Input for Title 1 Parent Involvement Plan – SAC May 3, 2017
Randomly selected by Title 1 results will help to formulate the SIP plan with will be discussed during a SAC meeting in May
- AdvancED Customer Survey 2016-2017 – ends March 31, 2017

FSA starts tomorrow. Students have shown a lot of growth. Expected to meet or exceed last year’s test scores

By laws were presented by Mrs. McGrath and read by members.
Mentioned to actively search for a vice chair

Mrs. Maldonado 2nd motion to approve By Laws
Mrs. Maldonado mentioned technology at the last training she was at. Novopro will take the place of smart boards. Goal is to make all classrooms interactive. Blended learning through CANVAS where students can all interact. Digital 5 program to increase to more schools, so kids can have more interactive experiences.
Jeff Stanley try to move all information for student’s i.e code of conduct, emergency contact, will hopefully move to an online form so parents only have to fill out one form.
Broward County Schools apt was recommended to download so parents have more access to information.
Teachers have access to Broward Single Sign-on
Virtual Counselor not only classroom grades, as school history for all grades that they have been enrolled in a Broward County Public School.
Kids who do not have access can get Compass for 9.99 if they are free and reduced lunch.
Novice college tracking program for kids starting in middle school to help them with
