BLIND CASE OF ROBBERY-CUM-MURDER OF A YOUTH SOLVED : THREE ARRESTED
With the arrest of three persons namely (1) Ehteshyamuddin @ Rehan
aged 19 years s/o Late Allauddin r/o Chimni Mill, Bara Hindu Rao,
Delhi; (2) Tarun @ Puchi aged 21 years s/o Raj Kumar r/o Katra Sujan
Rai, Darya Ganj, Delhi and (3) Mohd. Irfan @ Gandhi aged 24 years s/oAbdul Wahid r/o Chhatta Lal Miyan, Chandni Mahal, Delhi, the staff ofCentral District has solved a blind case of robbery-cum-murder of anemployee of a renowned restaurant committed in the area of PS DaryaGanj on 05.11.11. Robbed booty i.e. mobile phone and purse of thedeceased have been recovered. Weapon of offence Ustara has also beenrecovered.
INCIDENT:
On 05.11.11 at 11:06 PM, a PCR call regarding stabbing near Delite
Cinema was received at PS Darya Ganj. The police staff immediately
reached the spot and found that the blood was scattered there and the
injured had been shifted to LNJPHospital. No eye-witness was present
at the spot. The police staff reached LNJP hospital where an
unidentified injured youth aged 25 years was found under treatment.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 213/11 u/s 307 IPC was registered at PS
Darya Ganj. During treatment, the injured succumbed to his injuries.
Consequently, section 302 IPC was incorporated and investigated was
taken up.
TEAM AND INVESTIGATION:
Since it was a blind murder case, a dedicated joint team of Police
Stations Darya Ganj and Chandni Mahal consisting of Inspr. Yugraj
Krishan SHO/Darya Ganj, Inspr. Satender Mohan SHO/Chandni Mahal,
Inspr. Shri Krishan Inspr. Investigation/Darya Ganj, HC Amar Pal, HC
Brij Pal and Ct. Virender Soni was constituted under the supervisionof Shri Maluk Singh ACP/Darya Ganj.This was a blind murder case and even the identity of deceased wasnot established. Hence, several sources were deployed and localintelligence was collected to get the deceased identified. It gaveresults and the deceased was identified as Chandan Gaur aged 25 yearss/o Algu Gaur r/o Vill. Phulhan, Distt. Mirzapur, UP. He was anemployee of a renowned restaurant. On the day of incident, he hadleft the restaurant at about 10:30 PM for his home at Sita Ram Bazar.It was also learnt that at the time of leaving the restaurant, he washaving a mobile phone and a purse containing some cash which were notfound with him at the time of incident. It was established thatrobbery might be the motive behind his murder.
Further, sources were deployed to collect information about the
robbers active in the area. On 07.11.11, the police team received an
information that the assailants involved in the incident, would come
near Turkman Gate. The police team laid a trap and at the instance of
informer, three persons were apprehended who were identified as (1)
Ehteshyamuddin @ Rehan r/o Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi; (2) Tarun @ Punchir/o Darya Ganj and (3) Mohd. Irfan @ Gandhi r/o Chandni Mahal, Delhi.
INTERROGATION:
All the accused persons were subjected to sustained interrogation in
which they admitted their involvement in the above incident. They
disclosed that their fourth accomplice Mohd. Irshad @ John was also
present at the time of incident. About six months ago, they had met
in the Dhaba of Mohd. Irshad @ John’s brother at Darya Ganj where theyconstituted a gang to rob the innocent passersby at the point of sharpweapons. On the day of incident, they were in search of their target.Meanwhile, they noticed that the victim was going alone in the nighttime. They stopped him with the intention to rob him but when heresisted, they stabbed him with a ustara and knife. After robbing
mobile phone and purse of the victim, they all decamped. At the
instance of accused persons, weapon of offence ‘ustara’, looted mobilephone and purse have been recovered.Further investigation is under progress and efforts are being toarrest their accomplice Mohd. Irshad @ John who is still at large.

(1) Ehteshyamuddin @ Rehan aged 19 years s/o Late Allauddin r/o ChimniMill, Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi has studied upto 12th standard. He is asmack addict and unemployed. He is previously involved in a theft
case of PS Sadar Bazar.
(2) Tarun @ Puchi aged 21 years s/o Raj Kumar r/o Katra Sujan Rai,
Darya Ganj, Delhi has studied upto 10th standard. He is also a smack
addict and unemployed. He is previously involved in a house theft case
of PS Chandni Mahal.
(3) Mohd. Irfan @ Gandhi aged 24 years s/o Abdul Wahid r/o Chhatta LalMiyan, Chandni Mahal, Delhi is illiterate.

INCIDENT, INVESTIGATION & OPERATION :-
On 6.11.11, an information was received from PCR vide DD No. 46A, at 10.30 P.M regarding firing in Harijan Basti Palla. The said DD entry was marked to SI Neeraj Kumar who along with staff reached the spot. In the same time SHO Inspr. Sunil Kumar Sharma, who was on patrolling in the area, also reached the spot. A huge gathering of people was pelting stones on the house of Smt. Rambiri in Harijan Mohalla. Many people of the locality were injured on the spot. People were having iron rods, lathies etc. in their hands and shouting, abusing by calling different names. The family of Rambiri was attack by the mob. Out of them 3 were badly injured by the beating of the mob and Police found it very difficult to rescue the injured and restore the peace. Keeping in view the situation of the spot, extra force from adjoining Police Station was called on the spot and controlled the situation & rescued the injured persons & saved lifes of more than 10 Persons. PCR also took 3 persons having gunshot injury to the Hospital. Smt. Rambiri W/o Satbir R/o Palla Harijan Colony got recorded her statement about rioting / assaulting, trespassing and inflicting injuries various injuries on her relatives.
During enquiry Sh. Beer Singh S/o Attar Singh R/o Vill. Palla came forward and got recorded his statement regarding assaulting, rioting, attempt to murder and firing against Rambir, Satbir, Deepak, Rambiri and others on which a case Vide FIR No. 379/11 at 6.11.11 U/S 147/148/149/307/323 IPC & 25,27/54/59 A. Act was registered. During investigation accused Satbir S/o Jai Narayan, 2. Rambiri W/o Satbir, 3. Rambir Singh S/o Kadam Singh have been arrested in this case. Alleged Deepak S/o Kadam Singh & Rambir S/o Kadam Singh have sustaining injuries and are still under treatment in the S.R.H.CHospital Narela Delhi, while Satbir S/o Kadam Singh has been expired.
Smt. Rambiri W/o Satbir R/o Palla Harijan Colony got recorded her statement about rioting / assaulting, trespassing and inflicting injuries various injuries on her relatives on which Case FIR no. 380/11 U/S 147/148/149/302/307/427 IPC was registered against Sohal Pal, Beer Singh, Karam beer & Other etc. Accused Sohan Pal S/o Attar Singh 2. Suresh Kumar S/o Ompal , 3. Karambir S/o JaiNarayan, 4. Beer Singh S/o Shiv Dayal , 5. Sanjeet Kumar S/o Dharamvir have been arrested in this case. Alleged Jitender @ Renu S/o Beer Singh sustaining gunshot injury is still under treatment in the hospital. Alleged Subhash S/o Chattar Singh, Anand S/o Chattar singh, Parmod S/o Ram Singh, Kallu & Bhuria S/o Subhash, Bittu & Nittu S/o Shri. Jai Bhagwan, Jitender, Devender & Narender S/o Beer Singh & Others have been absconding.
RECOVERY
Weapon of offence i.e. Desi Katta with 2 empty cartages,
Lathies, danda, rods used by the mobs found lying on the spot have been taken in Police Possession through seizure memo.

A GANG OF VIOLENT BURGLARS BUSTED: 1 ACCUSED ARRESTED AND 1 JUVENILE APPREHENDED: CASE PROPERTY RECOVERED.
With arrest of two violent burglars namely Baljinder @ Sunny s/o Nishan Singh r/o J-26, Gali No 3, Sardar Colony Sec-16, Rohini Delhi and one JCL resident of Sardar Colony Sec-16 Rohini Delhi, the staff of P.S.K.N.K Marg, Outer District has worked out 01 case of violent Burglary and recovered 1 purse including visiting cards, Rs 120/- and one electric water motor.
INCIDENT/BRIEF FACTS:
On the intervening night of 6/7.11.11, three burglars entered into the house of complainant Sh Devender s/o Partap Singh r/o J-408, Gali No 8 Sardar Colony, Sec-16 Rohini Delhi when everyone in the house was asleep. The complainant heard some voice and he got awaked and came out from his room and saw accused Baljinder @ Sunny running down the stairs of the house. Seeing this, the complainant flamboyantly did an heroic act by apprehending the desperate burglar Baljinder who tried to get rid from him by violently opposing him and even tried to assault on the complainant but could not succeed as he was overpowered by the complainant Devender Singh. When ESI Card of Mr Rajesh (brother of the complainant), Rs 120/- and some visiting cards were recovered from the possession of accused Baljinder.
RECOVERY
With the arrest of accused Baljinder @ Sunny and JCL one electric water motor, one ESI Card, purse containing visiting cards and Rs 120/- were recovered from their possession.
INTERROGATION:
On sustained interrogation, the accused Baljinder disclosed that he had committed this offence in association with 3 others namely Kallu, Montu and one JCL (name cannot be disclosed being Juvenile). Since then, sincere efforts were made to nab the culprits. Sources were deployed in the P.S area to develop information about the absconding co-accused persons. On dated 8.11.11, a secret information received about the aforesaid violent burglary. One JCL involved in this offence who is currently absconding can be arrested as he will pass near Sec-16, Rohini Mosque. A team comprising of SI Suresh Chand, No 3631/D, Const Mukesh No 2780/OD under the supervision of Inspr Sanjeev Kumar, SHO/K N K Marg was constituted and a trap was laid near Sec-16, Rohini Mosque. At the instance of secret informer, JCL was apprehended by the raiding party and one stolen electric water motor was recovered from his possession. Efforts are being done to arrest the other co-accused but they are still absconding.
MODUS OPERANDI:
The modus operandi of the gang members is that they used to commit burglary in the night hours after gathering information as well rekki of the house and also after getting information about the schedule of each member of the house where they plan to commit burglary.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:
1. Baljinder Singh @ Sunny aged about 22 years s/o Nishan Singh r/o J-26 Gali No 3 Sardar Colony Sec-16, Rohini, Delhi. He is unmarried and is a school dropped out.
2. The profile of apprehended JCL cannot be disclosed being juvenile.

HUSBAND AND WIFE WHO LEFT THEIR SEVEN YEARS OLD DAUGHTER ABANDONED AT ANSAL PLAZA SIX MONTHS AGO ARRESTED
Staff of PS Defence Colony, South District arrested husband and wife namely Pramod Paswan (50 years) s/o ChamruPaswanr/oVillage Chhoti Keshavpur, PS Jamalpur, District Munger (Bihar) and his wife Sunita Paswan who had left their 7 years daughter abandoned at AnsalPlaza during night.
BRIEF FACTS :
On 25.01.11, an information was received from Sh. Sunil Kumar, Supervisor, Fire Board Security, Ansal Plaza, New Delhi (lodged vide DD No. 21-A) that a girl namely Pinki (aged 7-8 years) d/o Pramod Paswan is found abandoned at Ansal Plaza. The call was assigned to SI Saroj Bala who along with Ct. Braham Prakash reached the spot and found the above said minor girl abandoned. On preliminary enquiries, the girl revealed that she along with her parents had come to AnsalPlaza and after sometime, they left her there by saying that they would come soon, but didn’t turn up till late evening. Prima facie, it appeared to be a case of abandoning of a minor girl. Hence, the girl was produced before CWC, Lajpat Nagar after getting her proper medical examination and a case vide FIR No. 55/11 u/s 317 IPC PS Defence Colony was registered and investigation taken up.
INVESTIGATION :
During the course of investigation, it revealed that the said girl hails from Bihar and had come Delhi just few days ago along with her parents. The girl doesn’t know much about Delhi but informed in front of CWC that her father used to remains ill and her mother works to earn their livelihood. After getting all formalities, the girl was sent to Prayas’, an N.G.O. and the matter was further probed into.
It was like search of a needle in the hay-stack as there was no clue about whereabouts of the parents of abandoned girl, who was unable to give appropriate information probably due to language problem / age factor. Accordingly, a team comprising W/SI Saroj Bala, SI Arvind Kumar, HC Lekh Ram, HC Saleem and Ct. Mukesh was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Vijay Singh, SHO/Defence Colony to locate the whereabouts of the parents of the girl and to apprehend them.
Wide publicity given through print media and local cable network in that case to get any clue about the parents of girl. Besides, several visits were made / enquiries were conducted in District Munger (Bihar) and eventually, the team after strenuous and untiring efforts of about 6 months got a clue through local enquiries in District Munger (Bihar) that the parents of the said minor girl are presently staying somewhere in a cluster area in Ghaziabad (U.P.). The father of the girl is reportedly a rickshaw puller, hence, a number of rickshaw pullers were examined and finally apprehended him along with his wife from Ghaziabad.
INTERROGATION :
During interrogation, accused told that due to poverty and being father of six girls, he along with his wife planned to leave the girl abandoned. Accordingly, both father and mother have been booked in the instant case and the girl is still continues to be at ‘Prayas’, an NGO.

THREE ACCUSED ARRESTED AND SEIZED 3 RARE BREED SNAKES PROBHITED UNDER WILD LIFE PROTECTION ACT, TO BE USED FOR BLACK MAGIC AND MEDICATION
With the arrest of three accused namely Sunil @ Bhola (28 years) s/o Dhani Singh r/o H. No. 54, New Roshanpura, Najafgarh, New Delhi, Devender Singh @ Dev (36 years) s/o Lal Singh r/o Plot No. 76 Village Amrahi, Dwarka, New Delhi and Yadram (50 years) s/o Sh. Yash Ram R/o Sanjay Colony, Bhatti Mines, New Delhi, staff of PS Fatehpur Beri, South District busted a gang involved in illegal business of rare found snakes, which are prohibited under Wild Life Protection Act.
BRIEF FACTS :
On 08/11/11, an information was received that three persons involved in trafficking of rare found snakes in Delhi would come at Sanjay Colony for selling them to a Tantrik for the purpose of black magic and medication for sexual diseases. In view the sensitivity of the matter, a team consisting of SI Upender Singh, SI Kuldeep Singh, HC Kulbeer, HC Rishipal, Ct. Rishipal, Ct. Manish and Ct. Raghubir was constituted under the leadership of Inspr. Anil Sharma, SHO/Fatehpur Beri and over all supervision of Sh. Rajender Singh, ACP/Mehrauli. A trap was laid at Sanjay Colony and three persons were apprehended. They were identified as Sunil @ Bhola S/o Dhani Singh R/o H. No 54, New Roshanpura, Najafgarh, New Delhi, Devender Singh @ Dev S/o Lal Singh R/o Plot No. 76, Village Amrahi, Dwarka, New Delhi and Yadram S/o Yash Ram R/o Sanjay Colony, Bhatti Mines, New Delhi and three Red Sand Boa Snakes were recovered from them. In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 241/11 u/s 9/44/49/49 (B-1) & 51 Wild Life Prohibition Act PS Fatehpur Beri was registered and investigation taken up.
INTERROGATION :
On sustained interrogation, it revealed that accused persons are involved in the illegal activities of trafficking of rare found snakes for the use of black magic and medication for sexual diseases in the several places of India. Due to the huge demand of Red Sand Boa Snakes in the black market due to prohibition and in dire need of money, they came in contact with a Snake Charmer who also lives in Delhi. They influenced him for illegal selling of these rare found snakes and planned to supply them to a Tantrik who do black magic. Today, they came at Sanjay Colony to finalize the first deal.
