Item # / Date Received / Date Answered / Vendor’s Question / City’s Answer / ITB Revisions
/ 6/13/2014 / Are the Street Cars described in the specification all consistent? / Although the street cars are very similar, there are some variations in design. Use the dimensions in the specification for purposes of your proposal.
/ 6/13/2014 / Which company currently holds the contract? / Currently sponsors contract directly with a vendor for the services.
/ 6/13/2014 / What is the Service Level Agreement (SLA) that is expected? / The service level is something that would be in your proposal (Technical response, items A, C & F) and open to negotiation.
/ 6/13/2014 / Different Materials have different properties. How do we take that into account for purposes of proposing? / This is covered in the specification and scope of work. Your proposal (Price, Management, and Technical responses) should reflect the specifications and scope of work descriptions. The specifications provide dimensions, surface description, duration of product display, sample media types, and other details.
/ 6/13/2014 / The RFP asks for a bid assuming that 3 sides of the traction power substation is wrapped. Some of the traction power substations have only cut vinyl lettering. How are we supposed to take that into account when bidding? / Assume that the substations will be covered on all 3 sides for purposes of your proposal. The dimensions for the three sides are given in the specifications.
/ 6/17/2014 / Our company is a franchise with locations all over the United States that has been operating for over 10 years. Although every location interacts with each other to share expertise and experience, our Seattle has been operating for almost 3 years. Given this information, are we able to meet the minimum qualification because we have been in operation for more than 5 years? / There are three minimum qualifications in the RFP, two of which say that the “vendor must have a minimum of five (5) years continuous experience” with the specified services/products. Note we are seeking firms that meet all three. In the case of companies with staff and resources located in multiple locations and whose business/organization structure allows for the sharing of resources across locations, we will consider the experience of the full company for the minimum qualification. If you are a franchise which operates independently of other franchises (e.g. employees from a given franchise can only do work for that franchise), then you should base your proposal on the experience of your franchise, not on the collective experience of all franchises of your chain/corporation. Note that the minimum qualification is for experience with the specified services/products. Two possible ways to demonstrate experience is a dated list of projects completed by your firm and/or work history/resumes of key staff in your firm who will work on this contract.
