DESCRIPTION: Cody's Tree on a dark wooden plinth.
HISTORY: Presented to Chilterns in 1975 at Weston-on-the-Green by the members of Farnborough Gliding club in appreciation, following a long period when they were unable to fly from Farnborough. The tree is believed to be one of a limited number and represents the lone tree to which Cody used to tie his early airplanes whilst carrying out engine runs at Farnborough.

DESCRIPTION: Cog wheel mounted on a wooden plinth.
HISTORY: Presented by ex Wing Commander John Butler, who was a longstanding and very dedicated member of Chilterns. He spent much of his time preparing and maintaining ground equipment for use by the club. The cog wheel is believed to be that from the scroll bar of a "Wild" winch.
