Audition Form:
Audition Forms are due to Mrs. Stewart on or before Friday, December 9, 2016!
3rd to 8th grade students
Needed for audition:
• Short memorized monologue or poem. (30 sec. to 1 minute in length)
• Short song--30 to 45 sec. (16 bars) from a Disney musical—NOT THE LION KING!
• Song should show your best singing voice and be age appropriate.
• All students auditioning will be taught a dance sequence during auditions as part of the audition.
• Filled in audition form signed by parent to give permission turned in by Friday, December 9!
Other Information:
• Rehearsals will take place on selected Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Students must attend all rehearsals for which they are called. Each day of rehearsal will cover certain parts of the show….music, dance or acting.
• The Lion King JR. will be performed on March 24, 25, & 26, 2017. These are weekend dates. If you cannot perform on the weekend, you cannot be a part of the show. Please check these dates for availability prior to auditioning for the show.
• All students in cast or crew positions will be expected to be at the following rehearsals; No exceptions! March 8, 9, (spring break ) March 20, 21, 22, 23
