Install Guide
To install Quick Title:
Insert CD or Download from www.cticct.com/qt.html
Double-Click on QuickTitle_Setup.exe
Select the underwriter and state combinations that you use most often,
If you use more that once underwriter or state hit Next Company
When done click Save
click OK
Now click next
Select “accept” then click next
Click next
Click next
Make sure “Download and Install Misc Dependencies” and “Create Desktop Icon” are checked. Then click next
Click Install
Click finish and the install is complete. If you computer prompts you to reboot please do so, otherwise double click on the “Quick Title” icon on your desk top to launch the program.
Once the program has started click “Tools” then “Admin” in the upper left hand corner.
Enter admin for the user name and admin for the password and click submit
Now enter your company information. Agent ID will be your Agent Trax ID and Remittance will always be .4 for Connecticut Users. When finished, Click save then hit the red x to close, it will prompt you to close and reopen the program, after you do this the set up is complete.
For Network Setup
1. Complete above steps and close Quick Title.
2. Go to Windows Explorer (Right-Click Start…Click Explore)
3. Go to the c:\Quick Title directory
4. In the right window pane, right click on the db.mdb file, click cut and then paste it to a network location that is fully accessible to everyone who needs access to it. Be sure to remember to this location, you need to enter in the next step.
5. Open Quick Title...Click OK on the errors.
6. Click on Tools…Admin, enter username and password.
7. Click on Network Database
8. Enter location where the db is now located(From Step 4). Click on OK, and then restart Quick Title.
9. When installing on multiple clients, you only need to move the db once(Step 4), but redirect the location for all clients(Step 8).
