Bellevue University Quick Reference Credit Transfer Information

Mt. San Jacinto College is a Community College Advantage Partner of Bellevue University.

The Community College Advantage Partnership is a program designed for transfer students who started or completed their associate’s degree at a community college and want to continue their education at Bellevue University.[1]

  • If you hold an associate’s degree in any field you may enter the BA, BAS, BFA or BA degree program at Bellevue University and have no General Education Core Curriculum requirements to meet, but must satisfy the Kirkpatrick Signature Series requirements.[2]
  • If you have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution, all credits earned under the degree, by the time of that degree’s completion, are accepted for matriculation at Bellevue University.[3]MSJC Students will receive credit for ALL credits in their associate’s degrees.
  • If you have an associate’s degree or have completed close to 60 credit hours, you may begin your accelerated degree program immediately. Courses are offered in class or online in a 36 credit hour format. You must also complete the Kirkpatrick Signature Series and up to at least 22 credit hours of electives, which can be taken either at Bellevue University or transferred from another institution.[4] Students can take any needed additional college level electives at Mt. San Jacinto College.
  • Once you have successfully completed a total of 127 semester credit hours for BS and BA degrees, 124 semester credit hours for BAS degrees, or 132 semester credit hours for BFA degrees[5]and met the program requirements, your bachelor’s degree is awarded.[6]
  • You will be required to complete at least 30 credit hours of in-residencecourses at Bellevue University for the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Online or in-class courses count toward residence hours.[7]

Bellevue University does not charge graduates of our Community College Advantage Partners a transfer fee and we waive the undergraduate application fee for MSJC graduates.
