Fabric A - 1 yard - for basic purse, lining, pockets, straps *if you want a different lining use 2/3 yard*

Fabric B and C - 1/3 yard or 1 FQ for each reversible purse

Batting - 3/4 yard - medium weight fusible fleece

Decor Bond - 1/2 yard

Supplies

Pattern - Versatile Wave purse pattern by Susan Rooney

Notions:

One 14" polyester zipper

4 swivel clasps

2 medium buttons

matching thread

zipper and walking foot

chalk or marking removable pen/pencil

Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies

***Must be able to make button holes with your machine***

PRE-CLASS CUTTING - please have cut prior to class

Basic purse, lining, pockets, straps

Fabric A

Basic purse: cut 2 15" X 11 1/2"

Pocket: cut 2 10" X 10"

Lining: cut 2 14" X 10 1/2"

Straps: cut 2 3 3/4" X 28"

Reversible Purse Cover

Fabric B - cut 2 of each color using templates from pattern

Fabric C - cut 2 of each color using templates from pattern

Batting

Cut 2 15" X 12" pieces for basic purse

Cut 2 1 1/4" X 28" for straps

Deco Bond

Cut 4 from versatile wave template

cut 1/4" off of bottom
