Procedure for Submitting Architectural Review Forms for Approval

The Silver Lakes Architectural Review committee requests the cooperation of homeowners in submitting adequate and complete information when they wish to obtain approval of construction on their property. The ARB forms can be obtained from the Committee Chairman ( ) or can be downloaded from the Association’s website at .

Before the Committee can consider a request, the ARB form must be submitted in writing, via mail, to Joshua Jacobs (407-455-5950) at Community Management Professionals, Inc., 4700 Millenia Blvd., Ste. 515, Orlando, FL 32839. The form must be accompanied by architecturally correct drawings, and when applicable, plot plans showing the exact, dimensioned location of planned construction in relation to the existing building and property lines. If plans have already been submitted to and approved by the County, the stamped approved drawings must be submitted to the Architectural Committee via Judith. Photographs and “elevations” (artists conceptions) are helpful, but inadequate by themselves for the Committee’s purposes. Submissions by e-mail are an excellent “heads-up” for the Committee but are insufficient, by themselves, to begin the approval process.

Applications received before the end of a given month will be reviewed prior to the next month’s Board Meeting, which is usually the second Tuesday of the month. The Chairman or one of his committee will contact the homeowner with any questions or requests for changes, and the process will move forward as quickly as possible.
