Annual campaign fundraising results announced at upcoming celebration breakfast
Results from the 2013 United Way of Saginaw County annual community fundraising campaign will be announced on Thursday, February 27 at 8 a.m. Donors and supporters of United Way have been invited to Horizons Conference Center (6200 State Street) to be the first to hear the campaign results.
In addition to the announcement of dollars raised, the event will also highlight the companies and individuals who have pledged to create change in our Saginaw County community.
Three companies will be honored with a Thomas J. Hetherman Campaign award for their excellence in the United Way annual community fundraising campaign. Receiving the awards will be Nexteer Automotive/UAW Local 699, Team One Credit Union and STARS/USW Local 9036.
Cherrie J. Benchley, United Way president/CEO and Craig Goslin, Campaign Chair will be available after the event to speak with any media representatives. The event is scheduled to conclude at 9 a.m.
