RESUME

You may choose to make your own resume’ design from scratch, or use a Template from Microsoft Word (choose “New” from Word and it will give you a long alphabetical list of templates; when you click “Resumes” there are many choices).

· A resume should be clear and neat. Do NOT use any script or fancy font, and do not use any color for words.

· Remember you are “SELLING” your BEST self to a prospective employer!! Include all interesting, relevant information that might help you get the job.

· Do NOT include detailed information that is not relevant or interesting to someone considering you for a position. Use bullets, not sentences!

· DELETE any sections not used, including these instructions—and the word “RESUME” at the top—if you use this layout.

· ADD additional sections that pertain to your famous scientist. Each section can be as short or long as needed. You do NOT have to use only the spaces shown on this template!

· In a real resume the headings would NOT be numbered. This is for grading purposes, and so you can be sure to have AT LEAST 8 headings.
