Business Sector / Subcontract manufacture of thin gauge metal components
Describe your Business Activity / Qualitetch specialise in the rapid manufacture of customer specific high precision thin gauge metal components. The products are manufactured by photo chemical machining and low cost tooling is the normal manufacturing route. The business serves those requiring prototypes, pre-production and smaller batch quantities where laying down a progression tool is costly. Typical metal thickness range from 0.0005” through to 0.006” in most metals
Describe Typical Customer/End User / Market sectors served include; Electronics, Aerospace, Automotive, Telecommunications, Broadcast, Defence, Scientific Equipment, Medical Instrumentation.
Describe Typical
Application / A typical customer is a company with a requirement for prototype product specific metal parts, which, when proven, the volumes required will not be sufficiently high to justify the laying down of progression press tooling. Small to medium batch sizes are often required at very short notice. Typicall 8 – 10 working days .
Describe your
Preferred
Business Partner / Customers include OEM’s but more typically are first or second tier suppliers. The market sector these partners serve wide ranging, we are able to manufacture all types of metal components for all sectors.

Part 2

Products/Services and Application / Qualitetch provide a rapid turnaround subcontract manufacturing service for thin gauge metal components. The applications for the parts are unimportant to the process. All products are manufactured to order, we operate a just in time manufacture policy, allowing our customers to easily review and amend their delivery schedules. The core business is photo chemical machining, this linked with an in house tool room and forming shop provides our customers with a single source manufacturing solution.
Key Distinguishing Product/Service Benefits / All parts manufactured are customer specific designs. Manufacturing gives the benefit of relatively low cost high accuracy tooling. Batch sizes are geared to meet customer demand rather than minimum process batch sizes. A minimum batch can be a low as a single unit, design alterations can be incorporated with the minimum of tool alteration costs. The technical knowledge within the sales department is a major advantage when our customers require advice and suggestions concerning the most appropriate cost effective manufacturing method.
High Potential Market Sectors/Clusters / Any company within a high tech manufacturing environment from OEM through to any tier in the supply chain. All market sectors requiring high precision thin gauge metal components are potential customers.
Preferred Form of Partnership & How Conducted / A well positioned company operating in the field of precision engineering and recognizing the potential of Qualitetch products being complimentary to their own activity would be ideal.
However all forms of business relationships will be considered.
Other Issues Important to the Partnership / Qualitetch recognize the need to work alongside partners committed to the highest level of quality and delivery performance. A similar attitude would be essential for any partner organisation.
Although Qualitetch do have customers in North America we recognize that successful growth of our business requires partnership with an established US company working with a similar range of customers.
